Digital Skills Training for Livelihood

Project goal: To build a competitive and productive refugee income generation by 2030. Key objectives – the steps or intermediate outcomes that will occur throughout this intervention in support of the project goal: - Investment in key assets to facilitate online work at AIYD2. - Conceptualizing the business plan for AIYD2. - Online jobs facilitation to trained youth (Web development and design, Content creation, Microtasks (writing, video production, and social media management), Graphic design, etc.

Street Business Management

Project goal: To build a competitive and productive refugee income generation by 2030. We offer our participants, a three-month course duration which we cover: Getting Out of Your Comfort Zone; Business Opportunity Identification & Market Research; Finding Capital and Starting Small; Bookkeeping; Business Planning, and Money Management. We entirely use the curriculum of Street Business School to deliver the program after attending their coaching training. This project aims to re-skill and involve the community members in business activities as a source of eradicating poverty

Sponsorship Program

Project goal: To build a competitive and productive refugee income generation by 2030. Advocacy Initiative for Youth Development advocates sponsorship for marginalized children, from poor families who can't manage to support the schools of their children. Initiated in 2021, the sponsorship program has helped four kids from the Kakuma refugee camp secure admission to secondary schools, and one kid from the host community was successfully admitted to primary school.

Peace and Conflict Resolution Outreach Community Campaign

This project aims to mobilize refugees, aware them of promoting peace, harmony, etc, on one side, and avoid and resolve conflict on the other side. The initiative intends to also place refugees as peacekeepers in the hosting country.

Improving Protection and Asylum Systems

Project Goal: Empowering Kakuma Refugee Youths to Advocate for a Dignified Life by providing legal documents. The project addresses the unique challenge refugee youth face and seeks to create a positive impact and improve their access to legal documents as their basic rights. The project targets refugees between the ages of 20 to 60 years and will sensitize. 4500(male 2000, female 2000, and LGBTQI+ 500) refugees who will be the direct beneficiaries
